Not the same players, but the game goes on!

Hey peeps!!!

What a pleasure to reconnect with you after almost three years of absence!
You’re probably wondering why I disappeared so suddenly, right? Well, I’d say it was necessary. Let me explain.

For those who have been here since the beginning, I first launched this blog back in 2022.
I was able to publish several articles, conduct interviews, and above all, meet some amazing people.
However, What I didn’t share, was that behind the scenes, that launch was a series of disasters.
The version of Gheeklychic you knew in 2022 was a mix of unexpected setbacks, and, honestly, a lot of tension.

I wasn’t in the right mindset, since the person who was supposed to help me suddenly ghosted me without any explanation, leaving me alone to navigate a world that was completely unfamiliar to me. In my personal life too, things weren’t exactly going smoothly: adulthood was « adulting » way too hard on me. After putting in so much effort to finally launch the blog, I quickly realized that the design I had chosen didn’t feel right.

I didn’t find it beautiful or inspiring, and that killed my creative flow, to the point where I no longer felt like posting or working on this project that was so close to my heart.
That’s when I knew it was time to take a step back and really rethink what I wanted Gheeklychic to be.

So I took the necessary time.

During that period, I surrounded myself with the right people, who truly supported me and the vision I had. One person, in particular, took on the role of project manager for the relaunch of Gheeklychic (Fréjuste, if you’re reading this, sending you so much love 😉). He who was introduced to me by my dear friend Célia (thank you so much girl ❤️).

Here I am, back, feeling calmer, more grounded, and with a much clearer vision of what I want for Gheeklychic and where I intend to take it.

You’re probably wondering what’s new with this version of the blog? A few things, actually. As you’ve probably noticed, the design has been completely revamped and feels much more aligned with my vision.

The main content pillars will stay: articles, WCWs, and MCMs (and I can’t wait for you to meet the new gems I’ve discovered!). One major update: all articles will now also be available in English, and there will be a newsletter to keep you updated with all the latest news. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on anything!

I’m so happy to be back and I can’t wait to share this new adventure with you.
